Marineland of the Pacific was a 90-acre oceanarium on the Palos Verdes Peninsula that operated from 1954 to 1987. It pre-dated Disneyland and was known for performing orcas, including Corky, who was sold to SeaWorld and renamed Shamu.
Mold-A-Rama machines ran here through the 1960s and 70s, vending figures engraved "MARINELAND" including the Octopus and a souvenir of the 244-foot Sky Tower ride added in 1966. The site is now the Terranea Resort.
