Solar Dust Company

Solar Dust Company was a specialty pigment shop in Winter Haven, Florida, trading as SolarColorDust.com, a retailer of color-changing powders, including UV-reactive, glow-in-the-dark, and thermochromic pigments. Fronted by its rainbow-flame mascot and a purple hippo cutout, it was a small-town novelty stop just off Cypress Gardens Boulevard near the Walmart Supercenter.

The store was closed in 2025. Its Mold-A-Rama figures, including the shop’s own Thermy mascot and a hippo souvenir, are no longer available.
