Pleasure Island in Wakefield, Massachusetts (1959-1969) was marketed as the "Disneyland of the East", an 80-acre park whose signature Moby Dick Hunt boat ride surprised riders with a spouting mechanical white whale.
Its Mold-A-Rama machine vended a pilot whale engraved "PLEASURE ISLAND" from 1963. The park site is now an office park, remembered by the Friends of Pleasure Island.
