About Sears Tower

Rising 110 stories above Chicago’s Loop, the Sears Tower — renamed Willis Tower in 2009 — was the tallest building in the world from its completion in 1973 until 1998 and remains a defining feature of the city’s skyline. Its Skydeck observation level and glass-floored "Ledge" boxes draw more than a million visitors a year.

For years the tower hosted Mold-A-Rama machines that pressed a standing Abraham Lincoln, a model of the tower itself, and a Chicago skyline. Mold-A-Rama Inc removed its machines from the building in 2019, and the figures are no longer produced there.
