The Mold-A-Rama machine made its world debut at the 1962 Century 21 Exposition in Seattle, where nearly 10 million visitors could mold six different figures, including the Space Needle, the Alweg Monorail, Hotei, and the very first moldset ever made, the 3 Monkeys.
The fair ran April 21 to October 21, 1962, revitalized downtown Seattle, and, unusually for a World’s Fair, turned a profit.
